REGAL CARE RESIDENTIAL

Storhaug Engineering, on behalf of Regal Care Residential LLC (Regal Care), will conduct a community meeting to discuss the siting for an Intensive Behavioral Health Facility, which is considered an Enhanced Services Facility (ESF). The ‘regional siting process’ is essentially a location analysis required by Spokane County. Regal Care is following this County specified process and will evaluate 24 location alternatives determined to be for sale in Spokane County and which were evaluated against Regal Care’s basic siting requirements. The results of the analysis completed in this process will determine a final recommended location for the Behavioral Health Facility. Included with this notice is a list of the 24 locations that are being evaluated in a functional analysis, and from which semi-finalists have been identified for further qualitative analysis. An additional community meeting will be conducted after a qualitative analysis of these semi-finalist sites is complete. This later stage will identify approximately three finalists from this list of semi-finalists for review by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). The BOCC will then rank and recommend the preferred site(s) to Regal Care.

 At this community meeting, the applicant’s agent will make a presentation on the process completed to date, as well as summarize the results of the analysis on the locations currently being considered. Any person may submit questions and comments at this meeting.
